Extend your WPC 2026 Kenya experience with one of our exclusive post-congress technical tours on 29–30 October 2026 to experience a world-class potato industry visit.
The annual Farmer Field Day, hosted by Freshcrop, is the biggest potato field day event in Kenya. The event includes certified demos featuring multiple agro-input companies, climate smart agriculture training and mechanization demos including land preparation, planting, harvesting and sorting. The Farmers Field Day will bring together 1,000+ farmers supported through WPC 2026 bursary program alongside a wide range of potato value chain stakeholders from across East Africa.
The field day provides an opportunity for farmers to meet with various companies that play a crucial role in the agricultural sector, the field day is not just an event but a significant step toward agricultural excellence. The field day provides a platform for knowledge sharing, innovation and collaboration, all aimed at enhancing the productivity and sustainability of potato farming in Kenya.
On arrival delegates can visit the the wide range of demo plots on offer and will also get the opportunity to tour the show and experience the full field day atmosphere.
