WPC 2026 Farmers Field Day – The Field Day is Growing!

Preparations are well underway for one of the highlights of World Potato Congress 2026 – the Farmers Field Day, taking place on Thursday, 29 October 2026 at FreshCrop, Mau Narok.

The Farmers Field Day is already taking shape in the field, with demonstration plots planted and participating partners working alongside the FreshCrop agronomy team to manage crops throughout the growing season.

Bringing together WPC delegates from around the world, more than 1,500 Kenyan farmers, researchers, seed companies, technology providers, input suppliers and industry partners, the Field Day will create a unique meeting point between global innovation and practical farming experience.

Visitors can look forward to live demonstration plots, potato varieties and seed, crop nutrition and protection programmes, machinery and technology, precision agriculture, smart farming solutions, practical talks and demonstrations, as well as the opportunity to meet the organisations and experts helping shape the future of potato production.

Follow the Field Day Journey

We are delighted to announce that a dedicated WPC 2026 Farmers Field Day page is now live, providing a closer look at what is happening at FreshCrop in the months leading up to the Congress.

The page will continue to be updated as the crops grow and preparations progress, with Field Day developments, participating partners, demonstration plots, farmer mobilization, event plans and further news from the field.

Keep an eye on the page for regular updates as we count down to 29 October and watch the WPC 2026 Farmers Field Day come to life!
