WPC 2026 KENYA Deadlines Approaching!

Excitement is building for WPC 2026 Kenya in Naivasha, Kenya.  And June deadlines are fast approaching….

WPC 2026 Kenya Registration

 

Sponsorship/Travel Bursary Support

Under the umbrella of the Declaration of Dublin, and thanks to the generosity of the Diamond and Platinum Sustaining Partners of WPC Inc., over 20 delegates will have the opportunity to receive financial support to attend the World Potato Congress hosted this year by Kenya this October, 2026.

Each year, a portion of the WPC Inc. Diamond and Platinum Sustaining Partner Membership fees are earmarked to support this initiative. Of the over 20 successful applicants, 10 will be supported as a result of the generous donations by our Diamond Partner- Trical Group –and Platinum Partners:

 

 

Successful applicants will have the opportunity to have their Congress registration fee covered, full accommodation in Naivasha, as well as up to CDN$500 for local travel for regional reps and CDN$1000 for other areas towards the cost of round-trip flights (where applicable). Industry Awards

Applications for the World Potato Congress Industry Awards will be accepted until 30th June. The award ceremony is an important and prestigious event on the international potato scene. The award recognizes a lifetime of contributions to the potato industry. Typically, 3-5 outstanding individuals are recognized during the Industry Awards ceremony at the World Potato Congress.

How to Make a Nomination
Industry Award Proposers are invited to submit a written nomination which must include the following information in order to have your nomination reviewed:

Industry Award Proposer
You must provide your full name, professional status and contact information (email and telephone number). Note: Industry Award Proposers are requested to refrain from a write-in campaign in support of their nominee. Letters of support for your nominee will not be factored into the decision-making process.

Nominee Information
Please provide your nominee’s full name, contact information(email and telephone number), the nominee’s career outline and reasons why this nominee is a good candidate for the Industry Award (maximum 250 words).

Nomination Submission
Email your nomination information (as indicated above) to the Executive Director of the WPC: info@potatocongress.org

Nomination Review and Decision
The Industry Awards Committee members will review and assess all written applications received and recommend potential award recipients to the WPC Board of Directors for their final approval.
