Announcing Ms. Robbie Davis as Ambassador to the 12th World Potato Congress to be held in Adelaide, Australia – June 23-26, 2024.
Potatoes Australia Ltd. is pleased to officially declare Ms. Robbie Davis as the Ambassador for the highly anticipated World Potato Congress 2024 to be held in Adelaide from June 23 to 26, 2024.
Ms. Davis, a distinguished figure in the Australian potato industry and agribusiness, brings a wealth of experience and passion that will undoubtedly contribute to the success of this prestigious event.
Ms. Davis resides on a grazing property in regional South Australia and is a non-executive director on several Boards. Her qualifications include a BAgSc and MBA (University of Adelaide), and she is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD). Known for her great energy and enthusiasm for the sector, she has served in various roles including the past CEO of Potatoes South Australia.
Ms. Davis has demonstrated exemplary dedication and leadership in the potato sector, making significant contributions to the industry’s growth and development. With a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities within the potato community, she is well-positioned to represent the World Potato Congress as its Ambassador.
As the Ambassador for the World Potato Congress 2024, Ms. Davis will play a pivotal role in promoting the Congress on a global scale. Her responsibilities will include:
Advocacy and Promotion: Ms. Davis will advocate for the importance of the World Potato Congress and its role in fostering collaboration, innovation, and knowledge exchange within the potato industry.
Industry Engagement: She will actively engage with industry value chain stakeholders including, producers, processors, service providers and researchers, and with policy-makers to encourage participation and support for the congress.
Media and Public Relations: Working closely with the organising committee, Ms. Davis will contribute to media campaigns and public relations efforts to enhance awareness and excitement about the congress.

The World Potato Congress will be held at the Adelaide Convention Centre, conveniently located in the heart of Adelaide.
