The World Potato Congress Inc. is a non- profit organization representing potato jurisdictions around the world. It is recognized as one of the premier global organizations in the sector.

Through its technological advancements, product innovations and focus on regenerative agriculture, HyFun and HyFarm have successfully provided significant benefits to potato growers in India and to consumers across the globe.”

Over the last decade, India has witnessed increasing urbanization, rising disposable incomes, changing consumer preferences and the growing need for convenience foods. Experts believe that the growth in this segment is being driven by increasing consumption and the demand for processed potato products.

Since its inception in 2015, HyFun Foods is India’s largest processor of potatoes in the frozen French fries and potato specialties. Over the last 9 years, it has surpassed revenues in excess of 180 million USD. Its products are trusted by leading global brands and are a preferred choice for HoReCa, QSRs,and consumers in India and internationally. Today, HyFun Foods is a proud contributor to the Government of India’s ‘Make in India’ initiative and exports to more than 40 countries across the globe.

Our commitment to the global potato industry is well documented and we look forward to playing a pivotal role in taking the sector forward.”

HyFun Foods’ business unit, HyFarm, has a focus towards promoting regenerative agricultural practices to minimize the impact on our environment. Its efforts to promote regenerative agricultural practices and ensuring a sustainable supply chain of high-quality potatoes has witnessed widespread success in key states across India like Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh,Punjab, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh.

The Group operates through its unique “Seed-to-Shelf” business model, which starts with contract farming for seed multiplication and procurement of commercial crops through a comprehensive agriculture programme. The agriculture supply chain ensures raw potatoes are maintained at their best in cold storage and supplied to their state-of-the-art processing plants.

Soundararadjane S, Chief Executive Officer, HyFarm (a business unit ofHyFun Foods), adds, “HyFarm has always remained at the forefront for the potato industry because of its adoption of advanced technologies and farmer education and digital initiatives. We are proud to state that we have revolutionized production efficiencies without compromising on product qualities. Farmers form the fulcrum of our efforts and at HyFarm we place immense focus towards fostering strong partnerships with them.”

From automated processing lines to precision farming techniques, the group optimizes resources without compromising on stringent quality control measures. The group’s commitment to farmers has also been aligned with the Government of India in its dossier “Putting Farmers First”.

As we look into the future, HyFun Foods and HyFarm remain focused towards achieving dynamic growth in global exports & domestic markets by adapting to changing consumer preferences and increasing consumer demand for convenient and nutritious food options.
