News Release: The World Potato Congress Inc. welcomes Cavendish Farms as a Silver Sustaining Partner.
The World Potato Congress Inc. continues to grow and develop partnerships with potato organizations from around the world and we are excited to add Cavendish Farms as part of this portfolio of partners.
Cavendish Farms has several frozen potato processing plants in North America with locations in New Annan, Prince Edward Island, Jamestown, North Dakota, and Lethbridge, Alberta, as well as an appetizer plant in Wheatley, Ontario, Canada.
In a statement from the organization:
“Cavendish Farms is pleased to join the World Potato Congress as a Silver Sustaining Partner.
At Cavendish Farms we pride ourselves on high quality frozen potato products and appetizers, a strong relationship with growers in our communities, and in exceeding our customers’ needs.
Bringing the goodness of the farm to homes and restaurants is what we do best with a strong commitment to the land, to the community, and to the people around the world who love our food.”
“We extend a warm welcome to Cavendish Farms as a new member of our family of Sustaining Partners”, says WPC President Dr. Peter VanderZaag. “We at WPC are grateful for their support of World Potato Congress global initiatives. Cavendish Farms has a long-standing history of supporting the communities where they live and work through charitable donations, sponsorships, and employee volunteers. These are the same values for which the World Potato Congress stands.”
